Let Go
Music by Kevin Ball with Suno. Produced with Suno.
The story
Let Go sets the same poem my grandma left for her funeral, the one I first wrote for Miss Me, But Let Me Go on Invictus.
This time I let it build slowly, with layered guitars that swell from stillness into something much bigger, because grief rarely stays quiet, and neither does hope.

Lyrics
Verse 1
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul set free?
Chorus
Miss me a little — but not for long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me, but let me go
Verse 2
For this journey that we all must take
And each must go alone
It's all a part of the Master's plan
A step on the road to home
Chorus
Miss me a little — but not for long
And not with your head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me, but let me go
Bridge
When you are lonely and sick at heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me, but let me go
Outro
Miss me, but let me go
(Miss me, but let me go)
Let me go...
